Signs of fall……………….

The sure tale signs of fall are the obvious Cooler temperatures, FROST, but who would have thought that we would have such beautiful weather. Heat wave is more like it.  I have caught a few interesting images from fall that I wanted to share.

Empty food, empty tree. The leaves are falling like crazy around here and this food bin will be in full view for all to see. Guess I had better fill it with some food for the fall/winter months.

This is at my parents farm, the colors are just amazing.  Hope you enjoy.

ah….. Back to school

Well it’s that time of year again! The kids are back to school and I am as busy as ever. Since getting back in the groove of things I have created wedding invitations, learned a new Cello song and have learnt that there are many changes yet to come. I am working on getting back into blogging so bear with me. It’s been since January and life has gotten the best of me. With that being said I have a few things I would like to share….

a picture perfect for a postcard of St. Lucia where I vacationed this summer for one whole glorious week with out hubby or kids. I went with a friend of mine that needed a roommate to share in her adventure of going out of country for the first time ever!

As per this famous person quoted. It is about time I up date my blog and start to reclaim my art and myself.  I have been working on a few projects lately including finish my Hawaii scrapbook.  I have been working on cards, scrapbooking and generally working my butt off at my DAY JOB! Wow! I haven’t had the time nor the desire to post, but decided that my pumpkin header just wouldn’t do anymore and someone... ....  not mentioning any names keeps bugging me to update my blog.  Hmmmm who could that be.  So, onward I progress with updating my header and even posting to my blog.  Go figure! :)

I wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes and especially this person for not posting a horrible birthday wish to me.

Happy days ahead and I am working on posting sooner then later as I have many projects.

Where has the time gone?

Well, Summer is just about to wrap up and the kids are almost ready for school. There's that "S"-word again! LOL To those of you that had been following my blog, I am truly sorry I have fallen of the face of the earth. For one, I totally lost my creative mojo. Second, my job went into overdrive and I have been working more hours than expected, and third I have taken on another job to fill in the time that I had to actually craft.  :(  and forth if anyone cares I have been working on my personal well-being.

On the flip side, I have finally started to craft again and might have some time to start posting once the kids are back in school and I finish work at 3pm. My creativity for cards has definitely come back and I think that so has my creativity with my scrapbooking. I am actually attending a crop at a local scrapbooking store this weekend and hope to get my Cathy Z course completed.  Only a year after the fact. :)  See the link below to see what I will be up to on the weekend.

So, please stay tuned and maybe, just maybe you will start to see some of my latest creations!

Ah, yes.... art.  I haven't done much in the creating department lately. I have been working on some scrapbook pages but haven't had time to take pictures of them yet.  I helped a friend yesterday create her wonderful workspace and hopefully she will get some pictures up of it soon. My great space will have to wait for me to work in it as I just can't get time to do anything in it.  I am alive and kicking, but all of a sudden my life has gotten really hectic.  I will be working full time again and not have much time for my art.  So, I hope you will stay tuned for my art.

BALANCE....

an interesting word and has many meanings.  I am just trying to figure out what it means to me. I am still working for a little while, trying to craft and trying to maintain a house hold with 2 growing boys! Well, if I can learn the balance in my life I will miraculously have life all figured out. LOL

I have nothing to post today, but did finish my Balance Canvas and worked on my pages for my class that I signed up for months ago.  I spend Friday with a friend of mine who is also working on the same class and it was nice to know that I wasn't the only one that had fallen behind.

Today is laundry and cleaning of some part of the house, but I have taken a break to post nothing in particular. :)

Time Flies!!!

Wow how fast my weeks are going since I started working again. Not one job but two.  Don't get me wrong I love it, but it just cuts into the simple life I was trying to lead. LOL I miss my lazy dayz of coffee with a friend or the stroll to the park with the young dude in my life. My crafting time has been cut in half and I get frustrated easily over the simplest things.  How can it be that life can be so hectic that some people forget about giving a little of themselves to others in their time of need. Friends are very important to me and you all know who you are if you are reading this post. Don't forget I am always thinking about you even if I don't get a chance to spend time with you.:)

Okay now, back to the regularly scheduled life of mine.....  This weekend I will be attending the Creative Stitches/Scrapbook Carnival working for Why Box When You Can Scrap/Scrapbook Cottage gals Lisa and Tara.  It should be a fun time and I might even get a chance to scope things out and meet some new people from the scrapbooking world.

Sorry I don't have any pics of projects to post at the moment as I haven't had much computer time lately, even though I have done some projects. I know whine, whine, whine. lmao
