Signs of fall……………….

The sure tale signs of fall are the obvious Cooler temperatures, FROST, but who would have thought that we would have such beautiful weather. Heat wave is more like it.  I have caught a few interesting images from fall that I wanted to share.

Beautiful Sunrise at 7:00am in the morning and it turn everything outside this warm pink hue.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Empty food, empty tree. The leaves are falling like crazy around here and this food bin will be in full view for all to see. Guess I had better fill it with some food for the fall/winter months.

This is at my parents farm, the colors are just amazing.  Hope you enjoy.

Been a busy time….

School is officially underway and it appears that the kidlets are enjoying it more this year then in the past. My eldest is coming home happy and joyful, talking full tilt about the days events. His marks on assignments are what every parents desires when the only stipulation is that they try to do their best. The youngest is working hard with learning a new Cello song even though his brother is now trying to accompany him with the Trumpet. Yes, I have the strings and brass in my home, now all I need is the wind instruments… time to find the wind chimes.

I am currently working on a project for a gift that I hope to have ready in a couple of months…. months you say, well that seems to be how long it will take me as I can’t seem to find the time to fit in my crafting time.

ah….. Back to school

Well it’s that time of year again! The kids are back to school and I am as busy as ever. Since getting back in the groove of things I have created wedding invitations, learned a new Cello song and have learnt that there are many changes yet to come. I am working on getting back into blogging so bear with me. It’s been since January and life has gotten the best of me. With that being said I have a few things I would like to share….

a picture perfect for a postcard of St. Lucia where I vacationed this summer for one whole glorious week with out hubby or kids. I went with a friend of mine that needed a roommate to share in her adventure of going out of country for the first time ever!

Changes……

Re-cap of the last few months…….

* 31 October – Celebrated our 18th year Wedding Anniversary & the anniversary hubby’s freedom from the military

* 29 November – youngest son starts at new school after long consideration about how it would improve his life

* 30 November – left my job and clientele that has been my life for over 35 years, as well as, left one of my bestest of friends in my stead

* 1 December – started working with hubby with his new company – Omnilectric Electrical Services

* 6 December – Volunteered at the Suzuki Charter school for the Scholastic Book Fair

* 8 December - began my new journey of learning the Cello with my youngest

now skipping to the end of January 2011… it’s been a crazy December and January with many fun and family oriented events during this time.

But alas I must say good bye forever to a part of my life that I never thought would come to an end. It has been a part of  my parents, my family, my life for 40+ years and now I say goodbye. This is the hardest thing I think I have ever done but it’s something that must be done.

GOOD-BYE! Bonnie Doon Chiropractic Clinic may you rest in peace as you will forever be something other than this clinic.

 

Sigh……………….  Thanks to all who read my blog and letting me be myself on this day, as on this day I begin a new chapter in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Hey all you Turkey lovers out there. Just sending a quick greeting to you all and hope that you have had some time with family and friends to reminisce and create new memories.

To all my friends I wish you all the best this Holiday and I am truly blessed and thankful for having you in my life. You all know who you are. :)

This weekend was also my mom’s birthday so I am sending Happy Birthday Cheers to you!!

Times are a changing…

It never ceases to amaze me how the change of season never just happens outside, but with families too! We are celebrating this Thanksgiving with my adopted sister, her hubby and their daughter Chelsea. She is so adorable! She just recently celebrated her 1st birthday. She’s walking and babbling to beat the band and I get to spoil her to death. ;)

I would also like to introduce Apollo & Luna. Our loving Lynx-point Siamese Cats. They were a Mother’s Day present to me, but they seem to like my hubby a lot more. :0)

Thanks for stopping by and sorry it has been so long since i have posted. I hope to back on track and start posting some the recent things I have created.

Blog Hippity, Hoppity!

I just got finished doing probably my first Blog Hop in ages. It didn't take long and I found some great scrapbook pages that I am definitely going to have to CASE!   There were 5 wonderful designers, including my friend ANAM.  Click on her name to go and check out her designs.  I hope she is having a great Easter and that the Easter bunny is good to her and her kidlets. :)

Easter is rather quiet for me and my hubby this year. The kids are on a trip with my parents as we had to work during Spring Break. My parents needed a well deserved break from their hectic schedule, so there road trip is taking them to this wonderful mineral spa in Lake Manitou and then onto some museums along the way back.  My kids are very fortunate to have such great GRANDPARENTS that love to take them places that we just can not afford to do ourselves at this time.

Other than that my Easter will consist of working on accounting, going house hunting with a friend, meeting up with an old friend and shopping! Sounds pretty delightful of a weekend if I don't say so myself.

Err………….. wow I don’t have anything to say.

Is that even possible. No not really. For those of you that know me and know me well understand that it takes a lot to shut my mouth. Perhaps times are a changing and I am finding that I have nothing to say.

What I dream of is an art of Balance.

Is Spring Here yet?

The wonderful hub cap above was found one day while my kids were just a house away from our own.  It was conveniently placed the hedge for all to see and of course a perfect picture moment. On this day the boys and I decided to take a walk and see what was new in the neighborhood and see if we could find anything interesting and whola we found this hubcap.

Anyhow.. the work saga continues and I don't wish to bore you all with it anymore, cause really who gives a s__t!

So I have done a lot of scrapbooking and card making lately and will try to get some the things I have created posted. I just have to take some photos, but I do have a couple to share with you. Sorry no deets as I have no time to figure it out. These cards are not stamped but actually using large stickers. I had designed them for a local scrapbooking store and I don't think I ever posted. If I did I am sorry but they so reminded me of SPRING!

The indecisiveness strikes again….

Holy crap, how many bosses does it take to make a decision that isn’t going to affect a ton of lives and leave you feeling like you have been hung out to dry??? If you know that answer to this I will give you a prize. 

Really it can’t get any better, need a vacation and need it soon before I explode. Oh, it’s not my workmates, it’s the boss and he’s driving me & by workmate crazy.

Overall I don’t have anything to worry about, nothing that a well deserved vacation wouldn’t help. LOL

Had a great, quick hour of shopping, a tea and a scrumptious, whipped cream filled puff with a friend today! Hugs girlfriend. :)
